Corporately Praying the Word (continued)
And you being dead in your sins, in which ye once walked according to the age o this world, according to the prince of the power of the air ... were by nature the children of wrath, even as others; but God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead n sins, hath quickened us together with Christ. He hath made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ, for by grace you have been saved completely in past time, with the present result that you are in a state of salvation which persists through the present time, and (He) raised us with Him and seated us with Him in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus, in order that He might exhibit fr His Own Glory, in the ages that will pile themselves one upon another in continuous succession, the surpassing wealth of His grace in kindness to s in Christ Jesus.
For ye are saved by grace, through faith; and this not of yourselves, it is God's gift: not on the principle of works, that no one might boast. For you are God's own handiwork (His workmanship) recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] with a view to good works which God prepared beforehand in order that within their sphere we may order our behavior.
Therefore remember, that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by the so-called circumcision; which is performed in the flesh by human hands - remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace - our bond of unity and harmony. He has made us both [Jew and Gentile one body ... that He from the two might create in Himself one new man - one new quality of humanity out of the two - so making peace ... Therefore you are no longer outsiders - exiles, migrants and aliens, excluded from the rights of citizens; but you now share citizenship with the saints, God's own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself: you belong to God's on household. You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself being the Chief Corner-stone. In Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously; and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple in the Lord - a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated and sacred, to the presence of the Lord. In Him - and in fellowship with one another - you yourselves also are being built together [into this structure] with the rest to form a fixed abode (a permanent dwelling place) of God, an habitation of God in (by and through) the Spirit.
